HBCU College Fair

The Eta Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Nu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. are partnering to offer Westchester families an opportunity to attend the Malcolm Bernard HBCU College Fair.

The Malcolm Bernard Historically Black Colleges and Universities College Fair is a non-profit, volunteer organization that partners with community and state agencies to introduce a multitude of students, eager to learn about higher education opportunities, to college admissions representatives from the campuses of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

For those needing transportation, a bus will transport all families to the HBCU College Fair, departing at 10 am from the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers. The cost for each family needing transportation is $10/family.

MB-HBCU college fairs are free to attend. However, students must register for the fair using our online student registration page. Even if you are coming with a school or community group, you must register individually. Register early, before the fair, to be sure to have a spot.

Print out your bar-coded Admittance Pass and bring it with you to the fair. Each college representative you visit can scan your barcode, ensuring that the data you have provided is accurate and legible, so that they can contact you in the future. Registering online will help the colleges that you like save time, and let you benefit more from discussions with the college representatives.
